Steam downloading workshop content with no mods

Have no idea, but now after doing several reinstalls, restarts, subscribing and unsubscribing to mods, and completely deleting everything having to do with Rimworld on my pc, steam simply won't download my mods. Same thing happened to me with Civ Unless of course this is a fluke, and it's really just my pc being weird.

Always a possibility! I unsubscribed to a mod, and it looks like Steam finally is downloading my subscriptions. Last edited by Unikitty27 ; 5 Jan, pm. Struckboot View Profile View Posts. It seems like the eu4 mods and other Paradox games are just kinda messed up on the steam workshop. Here I will paste the instructions they gave me that fixed the issue: If you already have these enabled, un-check then check them again to fix any bugs.

Thank you again, steam support! Last edited by Samodov ; 11 Apr, pm. I've tried everything in this thread and nothing. My game is Crusader Kings 2, and it is impossible to download any workshop mod Do you have a mac version of the bottom half of instructions?

I am having the same problem. Sadly no as I am on Windows and do not own a Mac. I would suggest that you contact Steam Support like I did, be patient with them and they'll most likely have the solution for you. Per page: 15 30 MiniTool provides you with 5 effective solutions.

If you often use Steam to manage your favorite games, you may encounter various issues such as Steam update queued , Steam failed to load, and the one discussed here. A great number of users encounter the DEV error when playing the latest Call of Duty modern warfare.

This post will help you fix the DEV error If the Steam not downloading Workshop mods issue only occurs on a specific application, it indicates that the Steam mod files get corrupted. Step 2. Step 3. Type the following path in the search bar and hit Enter to find the mod folder. Step 4. If it is, delete the broken mod. Bear in mind that you delete all broken mods by repeating this step. Step 5. Open the Steam client and navigate to the Library tab. Right-click the affected game and select Properties.
